Create a business case which shows how a problem is being tackled, how much it will cost to resolve the problem and what benefits the organisation can expect to see once the problem has been resolved
Align the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by our solution by constantly checking to ensure that a change is in-line with the expected business benefits and to ensure that the business case is still relevant
Work to facilitate communication between organizational units
Work with the development team and solution architect to create the design and define exactly what the solution should look like
Serve as a bridge between business users and application developers
Analyzes user requirements; envisions system features and functionality.
Designs and develops internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of different approaches.
Implements best practices and enforces these practices among team members.
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Completes applications development on time with quality by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Upgrades job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; attending trainings as directed by the management
Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Mentors and guides application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
